Danielle Hani is a composer based in Los Angeles. She is currently working as an assistant to mix engineer Kasey Phillips while actively composing and designing sound for film, games, and theater.Danielle previously worked as a music-tech intern at Sparks and Shadows, the renowned studio led by composer Bear McCreary, and as an assistant composer and pianist for Jon Ehrlich on the TV series We Were the Lucky Ones. Prior to that, she collaborated with composer Sharon Farber and worked as a score technical assistant on the TV series Red Skies.Alongside her composition and sound design work, Danielle is an experienced orchestrator whose music has been performed by ensembles including the Israel Netanya Kibbutz Orchestra. She has also worked as a music transcriber on the musical The Juke: A Blues Bacchae, presented at Moonbox Theater in Boston.In the tech field, Danielle has worked with Apogee Electronics as a QA Engineer, contributing to the testing and development of their flagship audio interface, Symphony Studio.Danielle is a recipient of the Berklee World Tour Scholarship and holds a bachelor’s degree in Film Scoring from Berklee College of Music. She began her studies at Rimon School of Music in Israel, focusing on composition, orchestration, and conducting under maestro Yaron Gottfried.
